After the fat is harvested from the body, it is heavily filtered using a sterile device to extract the “liquid gold” particles. Fat is most often harvested from small pockets in the buttocks, abdomen, or flanks. Patients are given a local anesthetic to ensure they are comfortable throughout the procedure. The fat is drawn out of the body using a new minimally-invasive liposuction system with specialized cannulas.
The harvested fat is then processed in a sterile filtration system to isolate the nano fat from other substances.
